Nils Howard Schroder, Jr. born December 17, 1953, from Felton, Delaware passed away peacefully on July 26, 2018. Nils is the devoted husband of Cheryl Schroder, dedicated father to Delanie Cannizzaro and her husband Jeff, Nils Larson Schroder and his wife Michele, cherished grandfather of Bentley Cannizzaro, and uncle to many nieces/great nieces and nephews/great nephews. Nils’ hobbies included golfing, fishing and playing online poker.

He had a love of the water which was evident in the tropical vacations he took, his passion for boating, his time spent at the beach and watching a good rainstorm. Trips to Las Vegas with family and friends were something he looked forward to every year. He was intrigued by magic, particularly slight-of-hand.

Nils was an avid fan of music, keeping up with current events, and the Sunday comics, especially Big Nate. Throughout his career, Nils enjoyed tremendous success as a salesman. He was also exceptionally handy and able to tackle most projects on his own.

He enjoyed indulging on tasty Rice Krispies treats, red hot dollars, crabs, and lobster. Nils’ family was the most important part of his life. He will be truly missed.

Family and friends may call at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. , Arbutus on Friday, August 3rd from 3 PM to 5 PM, where a memorial gathering will be held. A memorial service will begin at 5 PM.
