Dorothy May Mulders, age 89 years, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Bay County Medical Care Facility. She was born on March 4, 1929 to the late Basil and Doris (Nephew) Leppek in Bay City. On October 15, 1949, Dorothy married Harold Mulders Sr. and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2015.

She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and music. Dorothy was preceded in death by her, grandson Jeremy Mulders; son-in-law, Tim Clancy, daughter-in-law, Roxanne Mulders; sister, Dolores Jonas; two brothers: John and Frank Leppek. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), 614 Pine St., Essexville. Dorothy will lie in state in church Monday after 10:00 AM.

Fr. Dale A. Orlik will preside with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Thaddeus Food Pantry or Bay County Medical Care Facility.
