Obituary for Peter W. Myers Peter W. Myers, 65, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, December 6, 2018 in his home. He was born February 5, 1953 in Beloit, WI, the son of Philip Eugene and Elizabeth Marie (Closson) Myers. Pete was a 1971 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School.

He married Linda Rae Reynolds on February 14, 2004 in Rockford, IL. Pete was employed by Enkel Corporation, Warner Electric and Stoughton Trailer, retiring in 2015. In his early days, Pete loved to work on cars and later in life he became an accomplished woodworker.

His passion was riding his Harley motorcycle and he was known by his family and neighbors as a yard perfectionist. Survivors include his wife, Linda Myers; sons, Shaun (Jennifer) Myers and Josh Myers; daughters, Tara (Sarah) Myers and Rachel (Ian) Meyer; grandchildren, Hayden Myers, Nolan Myers and Ripley Meyer; brother, Mike (Joanne) Myers; and his dogs, Stella and Miss Daisy. The family would like to thank Beloit Regional Hospice staff and the Beloit Paramedics for the care that was given to Pete.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Daniel Myers. Pete’s family and many friends will miss him dearly. Daley Murphy Wisch & Assoiates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family.
