Obituary for Peter Jung Peter Jung, 57, of Nyack passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2019. He was born on December 18, 1961 in Queens to Ernst and Hazel (McCartney) Jung. Peter loved his life in Nyack.

He spent most of his career in the home improvement field, working at Touch of Glass for more than 30 years. He loved music and travel. Some of his favorite trips — San Francisco, Nashville and Hawaii — combined these two interests.

He also enjoyed cooking, going out with his friends and spending time with his nieces. Peter is survived by his parents; his sister and brother-in-law Karen and Nicholas Vetrano, his sister Claudia Schober; and his brother and sister-in-law Phillip and Reaghan Jung. He is also survived by his nieces Sarah, Olivia, and Amanda Vetrano and Maeve Jung.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 3-7 PM at Hannemann Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peter’s memory to the American Heart Association.
