Bryant, age 74 of Frisco City, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary. Mr. Bryant was born in Minnesota and had been a resident of Monroe County, Alabama since January 1985. He retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer Rank E7.

He worked with Harrigan Lumber Company and Peterman Pole Company for several years. He also owned and operated Bryant Tires for many years. Mr. Bryant is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Bryant and Evelyn Poole Bryant; his beloved wife, Paula Lorraine Marino Bryant; and his sister, Marion Bryant.

Survivors include one son, Philip Lawrence Bryant, Jr. of Monroeville, AL; two daughters, Tammy L. Langlois of Auburn, AL and Kelly Chapman of Abita Springs, LA; one brother, James “Jim” Bryant of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Lindsey officiating.

Burial will follow in Monroe Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 4th from 1:00 t0 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Please share your condolences online by signing Mr. Bryant’s guestbook.
