Obituary for Phillip A. Barnhart Phillip A. Barnhart, 87, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Friday, November 9, 2018 at Southeast Hospital. He was born March 21, 1931 in Marmaduke, Arkansas to Jesse and Mable Sheridan Barnhart. He and Yvetta Littleton were married October 26, 1952 at Cape Girardeau, MO.

She passed away July 12, 2015 He had worked on a Riverboat for 8 yrs. and then for Prairie Farms Milk Company for 22 yrs. retired from SEMO State University after 10 yrs.

of service He also was a self employed carpenter. . He was active in Boy Scouts over 5 yrs.

and was Asst. Scout Master. He loved camping and fishing.

He was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church and formerly was a member of Southside Baptist. Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia (Dennis) Taylor of McClure, Illinois; sons, Stephen (Darlene) Barnhart of Oak Ridge, MO. Chris Barnhart of Burlington, Colorado; five grandchildren, Paul Taylor, Candie Halter, Tyler Barnhart, Jordon Barnhart, Sara Barnhart; 10 great-grandchildren , Haleigh, Brayden, Jack, Austin, Aubrey, Noah,Henry,Evelyn,Finley and Madison .

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Randy Morgan officiating.

Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Missouri Online condolences may be made at www. fordandsonsfuneralhome.com.
