Phyllis Pauline Klingensmith (91) of Ashtabula, died peacefully at home on Oct. 23, 2018. Born Oct 15, 1927 in Wheatland Pa.

she was the daughter of Phillip and Edna (Cole) Uber. Phyllis graduated from Grove City High School Class of 1945 and on May 15, 1948 she married her husband of 70 years Ellis Klingensmith. Mrs. Klingensmith was an Ohio Bell phone operator retiring from A T & T after many years of service.

Phyllis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church , two quilting clubs Ashtabula, and Conneaut. She enjoyed her grandchildren and taking care of her loved ones. She was devoted to family and beloved by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Ellis Harry Klingensmith, son David (Ellen) Klingensmith, daughter Karen Casbohm, grandchildren Austin Klingensmith, Taylor Kessell, Destiny Ginn, Victor Casbohm, Jennifer Casbohm, great grandchildren Brooke Anne and Brayden Jon Woodring, sister and Mary VanSickle . She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edward Uber and sister Roberta Wilkins. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 11:00 to 1 P.M. in Guerriero Funeral Home 1550 West 19th St. in Ashtabula.

Funeral service will take place in Cunningham Funeral Home Grove City Pa. on Nov. 3, 2018.
