Obituary of Phyllis Westbrook Phyllis B. Westbrook, age 83, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Lakeside Meadows, Osage Beach, Missouri. Phyllis was born on April 8, 1935 in East St. Louis, Illinois. She was the daughter of Harold and Ardell (Wedel) Byron.

On December 11, 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri, Phyllis was united in marriage to David Westbrook. Together they shared 28 years of marriage at the time of his death on April 12, 2010. Phyllis and her husband owned and operated Scotty’s Restaurant in Camdenton, Missouri for several years.

She had a love for drawing and all types of art. Phyllis enjoyed attending church with her husband David. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family whenever she could.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Edward Sneed (Kathy) of St. Clair, Missouri, Bert Westbrook (Lisa) of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Terry Clouse of Trumann, Arkansas, David Westbrook of Camdenton, Missouri and Daren Westbrook of O’Fallon, Missouri; her daughters Eloise Paulsen (Kerry) of Macks Creek, Missouri, Kathy Dunn of Trumann, Arkansas, and Deana Kays (Bill) of Camdenton, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Westbrook, her parents Harold and Ardell Byron, her brother Richard and son in law, Dean Dunn. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.

The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the family.
