OBITUARY Pinckney G. Deal III November 18, 1936 – September 18, 2018 Pinckney Gustave Deal, III , age 81, died September 18, 2018 in Charlotte NC. He was born November 18, 1936 to Sara Cone and Pinckney Gustave Deal, Jr He graduated from High Point College in 1959 and from Duke Divinity School in 1962.

He served as a substance abuse counselor for 40 years of his professional life. He is survived by his wife, Jane Cole Oliver Deal of Waynesboro, VA; Daughter, Pepper Deal Brundage and husband Chris Brundage of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Christopher Blaine Brundage, II, Smith Hayden Brundage, and Wesley Cole Brundage , all of Charlotte, NC. Service is scheduled for Monday, Sept 24, 2018 at 2 pm at Aldersgate Retirement Community Fellowship Hall, 3800 Shamrock Drive Charlotte NC 28215.
