Obituary for Consuelo “Connie” Ruth Reisinger Mrs. Reisinger, 85 of Fort Mill, SC passed away peacefully Thursday September 13, 2018 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A Memorial Service in celebration of her wonderful life will be held October 6, 2018, 3:00 pm at Living Savior Lutheran Church, 6817 Carmel Road, Charlotte, NC 28226. Her family will receive friends for the hour preceding the service beginning at 2 pm.

Connie was born on January 14, 1933 in Cleveland, OH to the late Henry and Consuelo Gripp. She grew up in the Chicago area where she spent most of her life raising her children before retiring to Henderson, NV. She ultimately ended up in Fort Mill, SC.

Connie was an amazing mother, grandmother, loyal friend and devoted Christian with an unshakable faith in the Lord. She had a passion for life, and wanted to bring happiness and smiles to everyone around her. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, traveling, rooting on her beloved Chicago Cubs baseball team, attending and volunteering at church, as well as spending time with her two schnauzers, Milo and Trixi.

Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends whenever possible. She loved giving them passionate hugs when she saw them. She lived by the motto “A hug a day keeps the grumpies away”.

She will be missed by anyone that had the good fortune of getting to know her. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald Reisinger, as well as her brothers, Bill and Bob Bennett. The survivors left to celebrate her life include her sons Scott (Shari), David (Kris), Kurt (Erikka) and Mark (Caroline), grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Kyle, Lacey, Trevor, Riley, Ava Grace and Noah, niece Judy and numerous friends, An online guest and condolence register is available at www.
