Obituary for Pola Jean Diana Pola “Jean” Diana (89 of Waldorf, MD), on October 21, 2018 was escorted by angels and into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Waiting for her was her late husband, Lou. Born October 17, 1929 in Braddock, PA to Rosa Ciottola and Alphonso Constantine.

Married to Louis Diana on April 20, 1949, they celebrated 66 years of marriage before his death. They were proud parents of three fine children. Completed her degree as a registered nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the 1970’s.

She had a successful career in Pittsburgh as a CRNA before moving to Englewood, FL, where she retired at the age of 76. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis and son John; her parents; and brothers Leo, Louie and Alphonso. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Diana (Bob) and Jeanne Smith(Mark); grandsons, Keith Merranko (Sarah), Louis (Paige, )Erik (Jessica), Michael and Sean Diana; great grandchildren, Julia and Andrew Merranko, Stella, Evie and Olivia Diana; sisters Ann Barni and Mary Donofrio; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering is planned for November 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM followed by a Memorial Service at noon at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed for Fenwick Landing Adult Day Care or Hospice of Charles County.
