Obituary for Rachel Lynn Therrien Rachel Lynn Therrien, 64, of Bluffton passed away on May 12, 2018, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Lynn was born on August 26th, 1953 in Kendallville to Lonzo Dee Swallows and Alice Jane (Finley) Nash. Lynn was raised by her loving stepfather Wilmer “Bud” Nash (deceased).

She was a graduate of Bluffton High School in 1972 then she attained a degree as a paralegal in 1992. She previously worked in quality control as a union steward at Kitco and Standard Plastics in Bluffton. Her fondest memories are of summers spent on Big Turkey Lake at her grandparent’s resort.

She was blessed with a green thumb and was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, daughters, and grandchildren. She is survived by her mother Alice Jane (Finely) Nash of Bluffton and her aunt Carol (Finely) Shirk of Carmel; along with two brothers, Donald Nash of Fort Wayne and Bruce Nash of Bluffton.

She dedicated her life to raising her daughters, Stephanie Jane Therrien Pratt (deceased), Deidre Elizabeth Therrien, and Sarah Rae Graham (Bryan) Beedon, both of Bluffton along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
