Obituary of Rafaela Hinojosa The oldest of 13, Rafaela Salinas Hinojosa, 89, of Port Lavaca, Texas, passed peacefullywith her family by her side on Saturday July 7th, 2018 at 01:22 a.m. She was born Wednesday, October 24th, 1928 to her late parents Frank Salinas and Santos Zamora Salinas in Inez, Texas. Rafaela was preceded in death by her loving husband, Juvencio T. Hinojosa, and their infant baby daughter. She is survived by her children, Yolanda Hinojosa Grewe (Gary), Brenda H. Jimenez Orta (Willie), Ricky Ray Hinojosa and Gloria Hinojosa-Davis (Tim).

She fostered an eternal love for her family and is also survived by her grandchildren,Michael J. Elliott, Brenda Nikole Jimenez (Luis Franco), Luis Fernando (Michelle) Jimenez, Enrique Rafael (Amanda) Jimenez, Ryan Ray (Brooke) Hinojosa, Cory Michael (Christine) Davis, and Tyler Christian Davis. Her 12 Great Grand-Children, Tommy Andrade, Alex Franco, Lanna Jimenez, Luis Jimenez Jr., Cheyan Sarber, Ryleigh Jimenez, Julian Jimenez, Bailey Hinojosa, Rowdy Hinojosa, Amelia Hinojosa, Ryatt Hinojosa and Jacob Davis. Rafaela’s surviving siblings are Reynaldo (Pauline) Salinas, Raquel Gamez, Anita (Felipe) DeLoera, Mary (Johnny) Mendez, Olivia Boysen and Sylvia Z. Salinas and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her siblings, babies Dolores, Juanita, Manuel Salinas, Ofelia S. Osuna, Rumaldo (Rume) Salinas and Israel (Blue) Salinas, Brothers-in-law Daniel Gamez, Louis Osuna, Larry Boysen, Sr., Sister-in-law Josie Salinas and niece Alma Ramos preceded her in death. Mass services will be held at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church Saturday 14 July at 1:00 pm. Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery FM rd.

1679, Port Lavaca, Tx. Followed by fellowship and food at the VFW Port Lavaca,Tx.
