In New Haven January 17, 2019 Raffalena C. DiLella 98, of North Haven. Wife of the late Louis DiLella. Loving mother of Richard DiLella (June) of Cheshire, and Louis DiLella, Jr. (Margaret) of Hamden.

Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Elizabeth Cornelio (David), Kathryn Bernor (David), Lauren DiLella, Anthony DiLella and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank and Louis Cappiello and a sister Theresa Ruse. Mrs. DiLella was born in Caserta, Castel Morrone, Italy on September 29, 1920, daughter of the late Robert and Philomena DiSpazio Cappiello.

She retired after 25 years from Glen Terrace Nursery. Her funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church.

Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice. To leave a online condolence please visit www.
