Obituary for Walter E. Woodmansee In New Haven, January 9, 2019 Walter E. Woodmansee 89, of Wallingford, formerly of Hamden. Husband of the late Muriel Herbert Woodmansee. Loving father of Heather Saccu (Dennis) of Wallingford.

Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Honora, Ava and Shane. Walter was born in Hartford on December 31, 1929 son of the late Llewellyn and Sarah Riley Woodmansee. Prior to his retirement he was a social worker for the State of CT.

Mr. Woodmansee proudly served his country during the Korean War with the US Army. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden in care of arrangements.
