OBITUARY Ralph E. Smith Jr. May 30, 1952 – September 4, 2018 Ralph E. Smith, Jr. “Smitty”, born May 30, 1952 passed away Sept. 4, 2018. Preceding him in death were his parents Ralph E. Smith, Sr. and Goldie Peeples Smith.

Ralph graduated from Guardian Angel grade School, and El Paso Technical High School (70), and attended UTEP. Smitty was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad/ Union Pacific Railroad and retired after 40 years. Ralph’s joy was laughing & being with people.

He truly experienced both with his long association with the Southwest KOI and Pond Assoc. (SKAPA). He said it was the best thing to happen to him, and served as president.

Ralph is survived by his sister, Cecilia E. Smith of Las Vegas, NV, his uncles Harvey Peeples of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Oliver Peeples of Rex Georgia, and many cousins and friends. They will all miss his cheerful attitude. A special thank you to Lorraine Chavez for her care and friendship.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday September 10, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home Central. Chapel Service will be 9:30 am Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home Central. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of The Valley Cemetery.

FAMILY Cecilia Smith, Sister Harvey Peeples, Uncle Oliver Peeples, Uncle Ralph is survived by his sister, Cecilia E. Smith of Las Vegas, NV, his uncles Harvey Peeples of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Oliver Peeples of Rex Georgia, and many cousins and friends.
