Obituary for Ralph E. Harre Jr. Ralph E. Harre, Jr., 86, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born October 18, 1932 in Everett, PA. Ralph was a son of the late Ralph E., Sr. and Stella Ritchey Harre.

He retired from Sprint’s Chambersburg office with over 38 years of service. Ralph was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren. He owned and operated the R & D Orchard in Bakers Summitt.

Ralph was a member of NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and most of all spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Goshorn.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Donna M. Clark Harre; a son, Todd A. Harre; and daughters, Debra J. DeHaas and her two daughters, Karis and Renee and their four children, Barbara K. (Terry) Baker and their two sons, Preston and Warren and their six children, Penny L. (Michael) Scileppi and their three daughters, Michelle, Christine and Allyson; a son-in-law, Dennis C. Goshorn and his three children, Trisha, Dennis, II and Charles and three children. He is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Umbower of Chambersburg and Eileen Sell and her husband June of New Enterprise; and a number of nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. in Shippensburg at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium.

A viewing will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren, Hopewell. Burial will be held in Steele’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren, 253 E. Garfield St., Shippensburg, PA 17257 or the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren, 4285 Raystown Rd.
