Ralph Sirian, 95, of Westminster, died Friday, February 15, 2019 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born on May 16, 1923 in Fairmont, W.Va. , he was the son of the late Ralph Serean and Concetta Bonichi Serean.

He was the husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” P. Sirian, who predeceased him in 2012. Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during W.W.II in the European Theater. He was retired from the Social Security Administration in 1978.

He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, stamp collecting, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by children, Robert L. Sirian and wife, Karen of Taneytown, Christina D. Sabbow of Laconia, NH and Charles R. Sirian of Finksburg; grandchildren, Lisa Stear and husband Jason, Kerrie Houseworth and husband Maxwell, Michael Sirian and Carolyn Sirian; great grandchildren, Jackson and Benjamin Stear, and Campbell and Helen Houseworth. He was predeceased by a great grandchild, Hailey Sirian; daughter-in-law, Barbara Baker Sirian; and by his four siblings.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown with the Rev. Cristopher Frigm officiating. Private entombment will follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave. , Westminster, MD 21157.
