OBITUARY Ramon Egipciaco February 13, 1928 – January 8, 2019 COLUMBIA – Ramon Egipciaco, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel at 12 noon. Burial will be held later at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

Born in Moca, Puerto Rico he was a son of the late, Alberto and Natividad Vargas Egipciaco. Ramon moved to Columbia in 1999 and served his country in the United States Army after which he worked for the Merit Company retiring after 30 years of service. He is survived by loving wife of 65 years; Aida Esther Benitez Egipciaco; daughters, Miriam Diaz (Frank) and Nilda Egipciaco both of Chicago; sons, Ramon Egipciaco, Jr. (Margarita) of Columbia, Alberto Egipciaco (Theresa) both of Columbia and Reynaldo Egipciaco of Chicago; grandchildren, Fernando Vazquez (Janel), Javier W. Egipciaco, Nadia Egipciaco, Jonathan Egipciaco, John Martinez, Jr., Bernadette Martinez, Lisette Fagan (Eugene), Jacqueline Torres (Joseph), Jimmy R. Egipciaco, Joey Vazquez and Michael Vazquez; 8 great grandchildren, Angel, David, Joshua, Michael, Sophia, Cameron, Tyler and Rozlyn.
