Ramon’s Obituary Westminster-Ramon Zelaya, 74, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Heywood Hospital after bravely battling a short but challenging illness. He leaves his devoted and loving wife Tomasa “Tammy” (Reyes) Zelaya: three brothers, Antonio Zelaya, Douglas Zelaya and Anibal Zelaya. Ramon was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, a son of the late Ramon Zelaya Amador and Elbal Rovelo Zelaya. He had a master’s degree in accounting. He worked for the Worcester Housing Authority as an accountant and also had worked for H & R Block part time.

Ramon was a resident of Westminster for the past 47 years. He and Tammy loved to travel the world and take cruises. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes. 123 Main Street, Westminster, MA 01473. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.

Burial will be on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road, Westminster, MA 01473. John F. Masciarelli, Walter C. Taylor and James M. Hebert, funeral directors.
