Obituary Service Details Randall L. “Randy” Donovan, age 67, of Smithton, IL, formerly of Fairview Heights, IL, born on December 23, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, died on September 5, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Randy was a United States Navy Veteran and retired from Kraft Foods in Granite City, IL. He was a founding member of Okaw Valley Classic Car Club.

Randy loved old cars and his best days were spent in his shop with his son and grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy, nee Zumwalt, Donovan; and his brother, Richard Donovan. Randy is survived by his wife, Susan Donovan, nee Bramley; his son, Thomas Donovan of Mascoutah, IL; and his grandson, Logan Donovan.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or to Randy’s Rescue Ranch. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Time is pending. Charitable donations may be made to: Shriner’s Hospital for Children Randy’s Rescue Ranch There’s still time to send flowers to the Visitation at the Kassly Mortuary from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on September 10, 2018.
