RAUL RAMON REYES February 06, 1930 – February 14, 2019 Share this obituary Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book Raul Ramon Reyes, born February 6, 1930 to parents Leonardo and Margarita Reyes, went to be with our Lord February 14, 2019 at the age of 89. Raul was preceded in death by his father, Leonardo Reyes; mother, Margarita Reyes; and wife, Sara Reyes. He is survived by his sons, Rudy Reyes Jr. and David Reyes; daughters, Jeanne Robles and Rose Marie Leija; sisters, Aurora Robles, Hortensia Galindo, and Olivia Robles; grandchildren, Jessica Hernandez, Melissa Reyes, Jennifer Hernandez, Vanessa Leija-Godley, Nicolas Robles, Analisa Reyes, Sara Robles and Alexia Leija; great-grandchildren, Viviana Alicia Hernandez, Isabella Hernandez, Noah Nevarez-Leija, Christian Hernandez, Alva Reyes, Julian Gabriel Hernandez, Madelyne Reyes and Jake Reyes.

Mr. Raul Reyes was married to Sara for 57 wonderful years. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. He enjoyed traveling.

Raul was a big fan and enjoyed watching our beloved San Antonio Spurs. He was a faithful servant of God. Corporal Reyes served his country in the “Corp” during the 1950’s and was a pround Marine.

Raul will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends. The family invites you to come celebrate and honor a beautiful life lived. Funeral services are as follows: Wednesday – Feb.

20, 2019: Visitation 4-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a prayer service at 7pm. Thursday – Feb.

21, 2019: Graveside service 11:00am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78209.

Family and friends will meet at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
