Ray Foster October 23, 1931 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Wyna Ray Foster, 87, passed from this life surrounded by her family on Friday, February 8, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is now at her eternal home with her Lord and Savior. An Itawamba county native, she was born October 23, 1931, to Guy Mitchell and Jimmie Lynn Spigner Culver, but has called Tupelo home most of her life.

After 32 years of service, she retired as a supervisor from Reeds Manufacturing. Her generous spirit and wisdom greatly impacted the lives of everyone around her. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy and she enjoyed spending time them.

She enjoyed working in the yard and spent a lot of time beautifying her flower beds. She also enjoyed cooking dinner for her entire family on Sundays and meeting with members of her Sunday school class for bible study on Wednesday mornings. She was a steadfast servant of Christ and it showed in her daily walk with the Lord.

Since 1963, she had been a faithful member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church where she taught the five year old Sunday school class for 25 years. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Davidson and her husband, Lee of Tupelo and Karen Dearman and her husband, Terry of Saltillo; two sons, Randy Foster of Tupelo and Billy Foster and his wife, Veda of the Palmetto Community; nine grandchildren, Shanna Gurley of Baldwyn, Kristi Beckish and her husband, Chris of Tupelo, Wesley Boland and his wife, Melissa of Endville, Melissa Inmon of Starkville, Amber Ozbirn and her husband, Justin of Fairview, Angie Boland of Blue Springs, Brie Foster and her boyfriend, Roy Hooker of Mooreville, TJ Dearman of Brandon and Matthew Foster of Birmingham; 13 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kincade, Lakyn Gurley, Liza Gurley, Cole Boland, Julianna Barron, Aliyah Birmingham, Seth Boland, Eli Hooker, Carson Ozbirn, Jacob Inmon, Ethan Hooker, Ava Inmon and Ady Hooker; and one sister, Eva Bailey of Gainsville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Mitchell Culver and Jimmie Lynn Culver Grammer; her husband of 48 years until his passing on February 7, 1997, Ellis Ray Foster; sister, Reba Gardner; and brother, Guy Culver.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Services honoring her life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Keith Cochran, Rev. Chris O’Daniel and Rev.

David Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Matthew Foster, Wesley Boland, Cole Boland, Seth Boland, Jack Hofmister, TJ Dearman and Chris Beckish.

Memorials may be made to West Jackson Street Baptist Church, 1349 W Jackson St, Tupelo, MS 38801. The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www. peguesfuneralhome.com.
