Erving- Raymond A. Johnson, 68, of Park Street died Thursday 4/19/18 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Webster, MA on December 21, 1950, the son of Durrell and Arlene (Stevens) Johnson. Ray served in the United States Army.

He was a custodian at the Franklin County Courthouse for many years. Ray enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. He loved going to flea markets and meeting many people.

Ray enjoyed helping his friends with outside chores. Besides his beloved wife of 44 years, Sandra J. (Beauregard) Johnson, Ray leaves a son, Brian Johnson; two sisters, Elaine C. Merrell of Woodbury, CT and Anne D. Couture of Spencer, MA; two brothers, Durrell H. Johnson of Paul, Idaho and Russell Johnson of Worcester, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews and in laws whom he thought of as family. Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kostanski Funeral Home. Sympathy message available at www.
