Raymond Alvino Rotolo, 90, of Hopewell Twp. , passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born on March 2, 1928 in Ambridge a son of the late Angelo and Nellie (Egelski) Rotolo.

Raymond worked as a boilermaker with local 154 before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He received certification as an airplane mechanic from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was a member of the Hudson Club, the Ambridge Eagles, and the American Legion, the V.F.W.,and he was a life-time member of the American Italian Club. He also served as former president of Air Heritage.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Joseph Rotolo; and a half brother, Donald Lee “Sonny” Rotolo. Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Joan T. (Kozak) Rotolo; four children, Raymond R. Rotolo; Donna R. Smith and her husband Howard; Perry J. Rotolo; and Lisa Fedorka and her husband Paul; Three grandchildren, Christina L. Culbertson and her husband Aaron; Emily R. Smith; and Howard C. Smith IV and his wife Katelyn; two great grandchildren, Eli Culbertson; and Joanna Culbertson; two half brothers, Alvin Rotolo; and Ronald Joseph Rotolo; and a dear cousin, Emily “Sis” Rainaldi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Friday from 5pm to 8pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www. darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Saturday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt.

Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
