Obituary Service Details Raymond E. Libera, age 92, of Belleville, IL, born on August 25, 1925 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, June 4, 2018 at his residence. Raymond was a World War II Veteran and retired from Central Hardware. He attended our Lady of the Snows Church and was a former member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Washington Park, IL.

He was a wonderful man and best friend to his son, Gerard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Libera, nee Duft; and his parents, Stanley and Helen, nee Baran, Libera. Raymond is survived by his son, Gerard Libera of Belleville, IL; his siblings, Barbara Spangler of Fairview Heights, IL and Mary Kafka of Edwardsville, IL; his nieces, Denise Klevorn and Tammy Chapman; his nephews, David Spangler and Richard Duft, Jr; his sister-in-law, Betty Duft; and many great nieces and great nephews.

There will be no services.
