Raymond Henry Sousa, age 62 of Toronto, OH passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio. Henry was born February 16, 1956 in Akron, Ohio. He loved to hunt game, fish, garden and hunt for natural herbs; served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and had worked as a welder, excavator and tractor trailer driver.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Harry Sousa and Margaret Kathleen ( McCourt) Sousa; brother, John Phillip Sousa and infant sister, Victoria Antoinette Sousa and wife, Kathie Jean Mitchell-Smith. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Sousa of Toronto, OH and Sierra Sousa Zastudil of Parker, PA; son, Jeramie Sousa Gorman of Seymour, MO; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite (Jeff) Lebo of Toronto, OH and brother, Steven (Tela) Sousa of Toronto, OH. Visitation hours for Henry will be held 2-4 Sunday, February 3rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto, OH.

A celebration of Henry’s life will be held Sunday, February 3rd at 4 P.M. with the Reverend Jason Gorney officiating. Following Henry’s service Sunday full military honors will be given by the Toronto American Legion Honor Guard at the funeral home.
