Obituary for Raymond J. Kihlmire, Jr. Raymond J. Kihlmire, Jr., a former longtime resident of Fishkill, and currently of Bristol, Connecticut, passed away on December 4, 2018 at Countryside Manor of Bristol. He was 70 years old. Ray was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on February 2, 1948 the son of the late Raymond J. Kihlmire, Sr. and Irene Reese Kihlmire.

He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. Ray married the former Diana Lacey. Diana predeceased Ray in 1996.

He was owner and operator of Raymond J. Kihlmire Land Surveyor. Ray was a lifelong New York Mets fan. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Trinity Council #445 in Beacon.

Along with his wife, he was co-owner of the Beacon Braves. Ray is survived by his children, Kelly Kihlmire-Caudill and her husband, David and their children, Hayden and Riley, Kim Sunal and her husband, Peter and their daughter, Sophia and John Kihlmire; his sister, Kathy Ermo; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Ray was predeceased by his sister, Mary.

Family and friends will gather on Monday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 p.m. followed by burial with military honors at St. Joachim Cemetery, 325 Washington Avenue, Beacon. Memorial donations in memory of Ray may be made to any Veterans group.
