Raymond P. Murray, 92, of Colonia passed away peacefully on July 20, 2018, at JFK hospital in Edison. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison on Thursday, July 26th from 5 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John Vianney church in Colonia on Friday, July 27th at 9:30am.

Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery. Raymond was born in Elizabeth, NJ and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School before being inducted into the U.S. Army. Raymond was a WWII veteran who earned the rank of Sergeant and served in the US Air force from 1944 – 1946 as well as during the Korean conflict as a clerk in the Pentagon.

He then worked for AT&T and retired after 38 years of service. Raymond is survived by his wife of 61 years, Waldina Murray, sister Pat Landgraf, daughter Melody Olsen, son-in-law Brian Olsen, and grandson Logan Olsen. Please consider donations to the Wounded Warriors Foundation in his memory.
