Raymond Paul Burdette, age 59, passed away Saturday, April 28th, 2018. He was born on January 3rd, 1959 in Berea, KY to Elmer and the late Edith Burdette. He was an employee of Okonite Cable Co. having been employed there for 40 years.

He was past president of the Union at Okonite Cable Co. and member of Brodhead Lions Club. Raymond found great joy in Nascar, camping, drag strip racing and puzzles. Those left to celebrate his life are: His father: Elmer Burdette and wife Mary of Brodhead, Ky.

; His children: Julie Ann Burdette Caudill of Lexington, KY; and Jonathan Paul Burdette of Lexington,KY; His sisters: Beverly (Timothy) Harrison of Berea, KY; Regina Gale (Jerry) Looney of Brodhead, KY; step sisters: Patricia Lewis, Donna Pigg, and Tammy Barnes; and step brother; Matthew Faulkner; his nephew: Brian Bullock; his nieces: Ashley Harrison, Carissa Looney and Melissa Ramey; as well as a host of step nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Burdette. Visitation for Raymond Paul Burdette will be Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 from 6-9 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral Services for Raymond Paul Burdette will be conducted at 2PM on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Gary Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Saylor Cemetery.
