Raymond’s Obituary Raymond R. Scipione, 64, of West Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Born in Providence, he was the son of Anna (DiVona) Scipione and the late Achillo Scipione. Ray was an outdoorsman, spending as much time as he could in nature.

He enjoyed the ocean, fishing, quahoging, cooking, and gardening. Ray was the self-proclaimed “Mushroom King” he could find the biggest mushrooms and could fill the bed of his truck easily in a few hours. He always enjoyed seeing and spending time with his family.

Besides his mother he is survived by his siblings Louise Vietro, Richard Scipione, and Lisa Scipione; his nieces Dawn, Wendy, Michaela, Monique, and Leah as well as many great nieces and nephews and extended family. Ray’s family would like to invite you to a celebration of his life on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 4-7pm in the 1st floor Common Room of the Monsignor De Angelis Manor 1, 825 Wakefield Street, West Warwick, RI, 02893.
