Raymond Ray Gagne , April 01, 1936 — June 09, 2018

1936—2018 Born April 1, 1936 in Biddeford, Maine, Ray passed away in his sleep on June 9, 2018 at Nazareth Rose Garden Skilled Nursing Facility. He leaves behind a sister Paulette and her husband Howard and their daughter Kimberly. Ray’s son Daniel (Danny), his wife Maureen and three step children (Travis, Jordan and Myranda) as well as Ray’s other children Diane, Rene and Richard.

Family that passed before Ray are his brother Maurice, Nephew Kenneth (Kenny). His sister Simone and his son-David. He also leaves behind his step daughter Lisa and her family.

It is with Great sorrow that we report the passing of Ray (Dad) He was a good dad and loved to be with people. He had a sense of humor that will never be forgotten. After all, he was born on April Fool’s Day.

He was also a Hoarder (LOL). If you had something new, he would go out and get one too, sometimes he would get two or three of whatever he was buying and give the extra’s to family and tell them that they are going to love it. He brought me a pan one time and after his passing we found two more of the same pan.

He had his moments and towards the end he still had a sense of humor. My guess is that he knew he was going away and wanted people to remember him for his sense of humor. I am grateful to be his son and am glad that he is no longer suffering although he will be missed by all that got the chance to be a part of his life.

The Memorial service will be held @ Tulocay Cemetery Chapel @ 11 AM on July 7th. I talked with him two days before his passing and he said with tears in his eyes that he did not want to die alone and he didn’t. His final resting place will be in the Crypt where his mother and father are.
