Skowhegan- Raymond Young 94, formerly of Winslow, passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018 at Woodlawn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Skowhegan. Raymond was born in Waterville on February 28, 1924 the son of Henry and Lewlu (Leighton) Young. He was educated in local schools and was retired from the Wyandotte Mill where he was employed in the shipping department for many years.

Raymond was predeceased by his wife: Joan (Quirion) Young who passed away in 2013, his son Raymond R. Young… Read More » and daughter Jean Poulin. He is survived by his son: Bernard Young of Waterville. Two daughters: Paula Fundaro and Carole Klaiber both of Rhode Island, and by 10 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday May 7, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Church 26 Monument Street Winslow, Maine. Committal prayers and burial will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery Grove Street Waterville. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Gallant Funeral Home 10 Elm Street Waterville.
