Regina P. Hays, age 82, of McKeesport, died on January 4, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 17, 1936, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Pearl (Blaszkowska) Fiedor and the wife of the late Robert J. Hays.

Regina dedicated her life to caring for her family. In her early years she worked at the Franklin Market of McKeesport. She was a member of the former St. Mary Czestochowa Church.

She enjoyed trips to the beach, music and spending time with her grandchildren. Regina is survived by her son, Brian P. Hays of McKeesport / Northern VA; grandchildren, Skylar R. Hays of Northern VA; niecesand nephews; extended family, Charles M. Stone of Northern VA / MD; former daughter-in-law, Randy A. Thornton of Northern VA; former fiance of Brian and wonderful friend of Regina, Renee Stone of Northern VA. In addition to her parents and husband, Regina was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna (Fiedor) Urban.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, January 12, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jody Dausey officiating.
