Obituary for Rethia R. Myers Rethia R. Myers, 84, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Nazareth Home. She was born May 8, 1934 in Daviess County, KY a daughter to the late Manuel Harvey Roberts and Mary Catherine Rhinerson Roberts. Rethia was a sales associate for Dillard’s Department Store and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James W. Myers, Sr. Rethia is survived by her son, James W. Myers, Jr. (Linda); daughter, Leisa M. Nelson (Roy) of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Emily and James Myers; sister, Joyce Bickett and two brothers, John (Rose) and Michael (Debbie) Roberts. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews”.
