Reuben’s Obituary Reuben Remphrey Jr. passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home in Levittown at the age of 76. Born In Shickshinny, PA, Mr. Remphrey has been a resident of Falls Township for the past 53 years and was a member of the former Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington. He was employed with General Motors in Ewing, NJ for 35 years, prior to working at Berrodin Auto Parts in Bensalem for almost 10 years.

Mr. Remphrey was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was a founding board member and coach of Levittown Continential Little League.

One of his greatest enjoyments was traveling to watch his grandchildren in their various activities. Mr. Remphrey served his country proudly in the US Navy on the USS Ranger during the Cuban Missle Crisis. Beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara M. (White), Mr. Remphrey is the loving father of Susan I. Sable (Richard), William R. Remphrey (Susan) and Christopher T. Remphrey (Kristy); and the devoted grandfather of Hayden, Savannah, Ava, Dylan and Keegan.

He will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Remphrey was predeceased by his parents, Luella Irene (Yaple) and Reuben Remphrey Sr. and his sister, Charlotte “Fay” Blankley. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Interment will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019, at precisely 9:30 am, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Remphrey’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
