Violet’s Obituary Violet Louise Byer of Fairless Hills died on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Chandler Hall. She was 86. Born and raised in Webster Springs, West Virginia and formerly of Long Beach, California, Mrs. Byer has been a long time resident of Falls Township.

She worked in accounting for Bell-Bold Contractors for many years. Mrs. Byer was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting and doing crochet.

She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking and baking. Loving mother of the late Ricky Lee and Joseph Daniel Byer, Mrs. Byer is survived by her son, Robert R. (the late Joyce); grandchildren, Kaylee, Carrie, Joey, Justin, Dustin, Melenni, Melissa and Robert; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her sister, Betty McElroy.

Services will be private.
