Rexel Kenneth Powers, age 80, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 3, 1938 to the late Selby and Hazel (Moore) Powers. Rex was a founding member of Newspring Church of Springboro.

He was owner of Rex Powers and Associates Inc. and retired IRS Agent. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aliene H. Powers. Rex is survived by his three daughters, Vicki (Mark) Edwards, Tessa (Timothy) Schrank, Darcey (Kenneth) Voelker; thirteen grandchildren, Joshua, Aaron, Logan, Brittany, Malia, Halle, Carlie, Maile, Koen, Jenny, Matt, Jacob, Gabriel; seven great grandchildren, Candace, Colette, Zadiin, Zel, Zarek, Ryan, Gavin; brother, Dallas (Joyce) Powers, deceased brother, Darrel Powers; three sisters, Jerri Powers – Withers, Judy (Randy) Carnes and Phyillis (Stan) Schock.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newspring Church, 1150 S. Main St., Springboro, Ohio. Funeral services are 11:00 am Tuesday, February 26, 2019 also at the church with Pastor Shannon Wooten officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
