Mrs. Rhonda Elaine Spencer Velevis of Raeford, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 67. Rhonda was born on October 21, 1950, to the late Sam Spencer and Eva Cheek Spencer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Spencer and Jimmy Spencer.

Rhonda was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Stuart Velevis of Raeford; four sons, Terry Long (Janel), Tommy Strickland (Renee), Ronnie Strickland and Harold Teal (Tonya); 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Long (Wilburt Barefoot) and Kathy Johnson (Terry); two brothers, Bobby Spencer (Betty) and Ricky Spencer. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford Funeral services will be held Friday June 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Pittman Grove Baptist Grove Church with Reverend Kenneth Williams officiating.

Burial will be in the Pittman Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
