Mr. Richard B. Harris “RB” was born September 1, 1956, to the late Mr. Howard Harris, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Eaton Harris in Birmingham, Alabama. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Broad Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Solomon Crenshaw.

He was educated in the Birmingham City School System, where he attended Washington Elementary and A. H. Parker High School. After graduation he went on to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as a truck driver. He later work for Lee Rogers where he retired.

He leaves to cherish his memory two loving brothers: Howard Harris, Jr. (Pauline) and Melvin Harris (Faye); four children: Richard B. Harris, Jr. (Pheobe), Jason D. Harris, La-Quisha Harris- Lawson (Darius) and Whitney Garrett; two nieces: Pamela Harris and Paula Harris; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
