Richard B. “Ricky” Waters, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 15th. Ricky was born in Providence a son of Kathleen Lois (McElroy) Watetrs of Central Falls and the late Thomas James Waters. Rickey worked in the manufacturing industry most of his life, at International Packing, Hasbro and TheOkenite Co

He also had worked at N. E.Tractot Trailor School and he was a master mechanic. Rickey, in his own words, ‘Loved His Children’ he was a devoted father, son and brother. Rickey was a cherished nephew, and was loved by many cousins.

Rickey was a very charitable person, he volunteered at his church, St. Raymond’s parish, he was an usher at the 10 AM Mass. He was a sharp dresser and always immaculate. .

He had the most beautiful blue green eyes and sometimes gorgeous smile. He was a very handsome guy. He loved bike riding, an avid Patriots fan and was devoted to all New England teams.

Rick loved the beach, he loved to travel, he played baseball and was multy talented, intelligent and just well rounded soul with a heart of gold. He made a huge difference in so many people’s lives, he visited sick friends, loved animals, told jokes and stories and was very proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed making people laugh, a truly quiet gentleman. He was well loved and is already missed.

Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Brittany Lynn Waters and two sons, Richard Brian Waters Jr. and Ethan Waters. He also leaves his step mother Jannine Waters, numerous cousins and a multitude of friends. Calling Hours, Friday, 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home, Central Falls and his Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raymond’s Church, No.

Main St. Providence at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the McElroy Family lot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
