Obituary for Richard Dale Robinson Richard Dale Robinson, age 57, passed peacefully from this life on to his heavenly home with family at his side on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018, in Yukon, OK. A battle with cancer may have taken his life, but it never took away his care for others or his sense of humor. Richard was born Oct.

17, 1961 in Toppenish, WA to Ron and Carol (Sinner) Robinson. The family moved to rural Riverton, KS in 1965. Richard grew up in the country where he loved to fish, ride bikes and play baseball.

He attended Riverton School from kindergarten through High School, graduating with the class of 1979. He later took courses in general business at Ft. Scott Community College.

In 1985, Richard married Michele Moline in Oklahoma City, OK. The two greatest joys in Richard’s life were his children, Traci and Robert. Their childhood included many memorable vacations, their favorite trips were spent RV camping in the mountains where they loved to hike, fish, go rafting and horseback riding.

In recent years, Richard still enjoyed his peaceful time in the mountains and went as often as he could. During his life, Richard worked for Foodtown Stores in Pittsburg, KS, Sunnyveld Dairy in Sunnyside, WA, Armour Swift-Eckrich Meats in OKC, and has worked in RV sales in OKC since 1996 for McClain’s RV Superstore, Walker RV Center, Sooner RV, Oklahoma RV Center and Funtown RV. Richard was a hard worker, always providing well for his family.

Over the 18 years he was in the RV business he made many good friends. Richard is survived by a daughter Traci (Satchal) Robinson-Raines of Mustang, OK, son Robert (Virginia) Robinson of Altus,OK, mother Carol Martin of Baxter Springs, KS, step-mother Sharon Robinson of Grandview, WA, sister Patti (Phil) Street of Columbus, KS, his brother Ray Robinson of OKC, and three grandsons- Jenson, Enoch and Ryden. He was preceded in death by his father Ron Robinson, and two stepfathers- Kenneth Livingston and Frank Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, November 23 at Smith-Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK with Chaplain Jennifer Reynolds officiating. The following day, Saturday, November 24, the family will receive friends at a visitation held at Derfelt Funeral Home in Baxter Springs, KS. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery following a private graveside ceremony officiated by Rev.
