Obituary for Richard Dean Redding Richard Dean Redding RACINE – Richard Dean Redding, 60, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was born in Racine on February 10, 1958, the son of the late Richard W. and Nancy (nee: Overturf) Redding. On September 15, 1991, Dean was united in marriage to Denessa Kendall at Wustum Gardens in Racine.

He was the owner/operator of Reddings Riffle and Ammo, before working as an engineer for Racine Unified School District. Dean was a Corvette enthusiast, and was in the Corvette Club. He collected coins and Hot Rod, and Handyman magazines.

Surviving are his wife, Denessa; daughters, Katie, and Marie Redding; siblings, Chuck Redding, Terry Redding, Leslie (Mark) Breidenbach, and Wendy (Rob) Vesely. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A memorial service for Dean will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3301 Douglas Ave, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 4 p.m. There will be a visitation at the church from 3 p.m. until time of service.
