Richard E. Kazimer, age 73, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center. He was born Thursday, February 8, 1945 in Chambersburg, the son of the late John A. and Sylvia J. (Maley) Kazimer. Richard was formerly employed by Shippensburg Borough as a parking enforcement officer.

Before working for the borough, Dick was a carpenter with Charles Kelso of Newburg. He was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren and Sons of the American Legion. … Read More » His wife, Shirley A. Kazimer passed in 2010.

He is survived by his two sisters, Betty J. Kazimer of Shippensburg and Jocelyn Johnson of St. Paul, MN, one brother, John Robert Kazimer of Shippensburg, sister-in-law, Betty Jo Shaeffer of Chambersburg, cousins John Maley of Shippensburg and Linda Foringer of Newville. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 28 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory,51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Pastor Leon Davis officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of services.
