OBITUARY Richard Eugene Lindstrom March 30, 1928 – January 2, 2019 Richard Eugene Lindstrom, 90 of Hickory went home to be with his heavenly Father on January 2, 2019 at the Sherrill’s Ford Hospice House. Born on March 30, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan, Richard was the son of the late Fred and Harriet Lindstrom. He was a member of the Salina Pioneer Lodge #79 F. & A.M. for 65 years.

He also served in the United States Marine Corps. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a step daughter, Janet Norris. Survivors include, daughter, Diane Chapman and husband, Lee; significant other for 50 years, Joyce Lester; step children, Herbert Lester Jr., Mary Sherman, Barbara Wagner, Debbie Lester; grandchildren, Shiane and Eli Chapman; step grandchildren, Kaylee Chapman, Robert Lester, Patricia Laney, Crystal Sherman and Michael Wagner; step great grandchildren; Andrew and Levi Laney and Eric Sherman.

A graveside service will be held on January 5, 2019 at Catawba Memorial Park at 2:00 pm with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project at PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517. Condolences may be left at www.
