Richard Everett LaBrie June 19, 1931 – February 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Richard Everett LaBrie, age 87, was called home to our Lord Monday, February 11, 2019. Dick was born June 19, 1931 in Lynn, Massachusetts, attended English High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean war between 1949 and 1952. He married Carol Askin Dec 13, 1953 Dick and Carol lived in Rowley, Massachusetts where he was a medical equipment technician at High Voltage Engineering until 1971 when they moved the family to Dallas, Texas.

After a successful Real Estate career in the DFW area Dick and Carol retired and moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas where he served as treasurer for the Bella Vista Veterans wall of honor and was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista. Dick was a handyman that could build or repair almost anything, he also enjoyed travelling spending time with his family and serving the community. Richard LaBrie is survived by Carol LaBrie, his wife of 65 years; children John LaBrie and wife Michelle, Joanne West, Janice LaBrie and partner Deborah Bartholomew; grandchildren Brenton LaBrie, Matthew West, Steven LaBrie, Hayden LaBrie; great grandchild Alexander West.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Rotary Foundation – my. rotary.org/en/donate – or by mail to 14280 Collection Center Drive Chicago, Il 60693 USA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, February 19th at the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Forest Hills Blvd, Bella Vista, AR 72715.

A burial with military honors will take place at 11:00 on February 19 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.
