Richard ” Dick” Kettner will be remembered as a hard-working, generous, Christian man who loved his family. He was someone who could count on in your time of need expecting nothing in return. He was gifted in the mason and carpentry fields and used these skills to help others.

Richard worked for the Washington Gas Light Company for 43 years. During his 20 years of retirement, he enjoyed going to visit historical sites with his wife, spending time with his family, working in his yard and garden, riding his tractor, and assisting with the care of their four-legged family members. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, two daughters, two grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

His work ethic, love for family, and strong faith in God leave a solid foundation fo his family to build upon. Richard’s life and legacy will be a cherished memory for those who loved him.
