Obituary for Richard Ivan Yielding Richard Ivan Yielding, 63, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was born January 3, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to Burl Wesley and Ethel Yielding. He is survived by his wife, Judy Yielding; son, Stan Yielding and his fiancé, Adrienne White; stepsons, Heath (Brandy) Dycus and Jason Dycus; sisters, Hattie Mae (Ted) Peterson, Judy Fugate, Wanda Thomas, Fran Yielding, Patsy Contos and Susan Yielding; brothers, Burl Yielding and Randy Yielding; granddaughter, Harlyn Yielding and many other family, friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was a cowboy and rodeo was his passion, he was a championship bareback rider. He followed the circuits of many rodeo associations; he was a member of the PRCA, ARA and IRA associations.

Following his retirement from the rodeo, Richard finished his career in the construction industry. He loved his family and was especially proud of his son, Stan and his granddaughter, Harlyn. A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Richard Ivan Yielding please visit our Sympathy Store.
