Richard Lee Johnson March 10, 1938 – December 26, 2018 Richard Lee “Rick” Johnson, 80 of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Rick was born March 10, 1938 at Montrose, Missouri; son of Aaron Burr Johnson and Pearl Mae (Odle) Johnson. He graduated from Chilhowee High School.

He enlisted in the United States Navy, and served on the USS Abnaki. Rick was married to Margaret Lucille (Jones) on October 25, 1964 at Calhoun, Missouri. He was a mechanic by trade.

He was a diesel mechanic for 707 Truck Stop in Blue Springs at one time. Rick enjoyed John Wayne Movies; Elvis music and also, old time country music. Born: March 10, 1938 Death: December 26, 2018 Survivors include two daughters: Tonya Renee Knouff of Renselear, IN and Judy Lynn Cain of St. Anne, IL; two sons: Brian Keith Johnson of Warrensburg, MO and Richard “Michael” Johnson of Shenandoah, IA; sister: Martha Faye (Johnson) Hibbs; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; ex-wife: Christine Johnson and four stepdaughters: Janet, Beth, Karene and Evelyn.

Rick was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 31st at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Deacon Tom Baker of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville with Full Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be Eugene King, Ricky Rogers, Nathan Delacerda, Tony Knouff, Glen Cain and Larry Johnson The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.
