He was of the Baptist Faith. He was employed at Hitachi Company in Berea, KY. Richard enjoyed fishing, playing with his kids and basketball.

Vernon, KY; sisters: Heather Pendery of Kingsport, TN; Brandy Lautenschlager of Mt.

Vernon, KY; Jessica Cundiff of Mt. Vernon, KY; Christinia Prewitt (Anthony) of Brodhead, KY; Step-mother: Sharon Pendery of Mt. Vernon, KY; Step-father: Raymond Howard of Richmond, KY; father in-law and mother in-law: Robert and Tammy Thomas; as well as many friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Richard Lee Pendery will be Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 10:00 A.M.–2:00 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral Services for Richard Lee Pendery will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Randy McPheron officiating.

Burial will be in the Phelps Cemetery.
